Configure SOS emergency alerts

Set who receives an alert, the escalation order, and how an incident is closed.

Configuring SOS

  1. Go to GuardOS → SOS and define the recipient groups.
  2. Set the escalation order: guard post → shift supervisor → property manager.
  3. Set how long to wait before escalating to the next level.
  4. Run a drill to confirm every recipient is alerted.
  • A resident can trigger SOS from the app, which sends their location and unit with it.
  • An unacknowledged alert escalates automatically.
Run a drill quarterly, and re-check the recipient list after any change of shift pattern or manager.
