Installing the ID-card reader

The card-reader software runs on Windows only.
  1. Download the installer from ivote.thelivingos.com.
  2. Allow the browser to download software from outside its usual sources.
  3. When Windows warns you, click More info, then Run anyway.
  4. Accept the licence agreement and install.
  5. Connect the reader to the computer.

Then open the proxy-registration page at ivote.thelivingos.com and insert the ID card. Wait for the green light and the on-screen confirmation; the card number fills in automatically.
