Open the Agenda tab and click “Create agenda item”. Set the counting base, name the item, and pick one of three voting methods.

The three answer formats
- For information — no vote is taken. Sub-items of all three kinds are allowed underneath.
- Standard — one answer from Approve / Disapprove / Abstain.
- Custom — you define how many answers there are and what they say.

Custom items cover cases like electing three committee members from five candidates. If the candidates are not settled yet, number the options now and rename them any time before voting opens.
Add an “Abstain” option yourself on custom items — unlike the standard format, it is not supplied automatically.
Once voting opens, an agenda item can no longer be edited, because residents have already seen it. To correct a mistake mid-vote you must cancel that item and create a replacement.
As soon as the meeting has an owner list and at least one agenda item, its status moves from Draft to Awaiting invitation, and invitation letters can be printed.
